I began my journey in disability care, founding a support business that could truly make a difference in people’s lives. Over time, I moved into aged care, following in the footsteps of my mum and aunties who all worked in mental health, aged care and nursing.

Through them – and through my own work – I’ve seen first-hand how our health care system has declined. I’ve witnessed the conditions and neglect many older people are forced to live in: underfunded packages, care workers who are rushed and underpaid, and large companies that have formed monopolies and seem to care more about numbers and profit than the people they promised to serve.

One at Home Aged Care has grown purely through referrals. I choose to keep the business small to medium so we can be a pocket of peace – offering care of a much higher standard, with carers of a much higher quality.

We charge less than the big providers so your package can go further, and we pay our workers more so they don’t have to rush or worry about every minute. We create an environment where everyone can flourish – our clients, their families and our team – and where you are genuinely well taken care of.

I give my personal phone number to all of my clients and their families so you always feel supported and heard. If you need any changes, we can make them quickly. I pride myself on carefully matching clients with workers so you feel safe, supported and fully seen as a person, not a task list.
